In the past 11 years, 21,440 papers on magnesium alloys had been collected, reaching about 2000 papers per 12 months, which accounts for 20% of all alloy research. The major technology of manufacturing the automotive parts from aluminum is casting . The predicted contribution of aluminum, along with steel, magnesium, and different materials, to automobiles as a lot as 2040 is shown in Figure 11b .
