The corona pandemic is now ‘severely affecting Volvo Cars in many ways, within the type of a weakening market, a threat for production disruption in addition to concerns for the employees’, Volvo stated. Ford has quickly suspended production at its manufacturing sites in Brazil – Camacari , Taubate and Troller’s plant in Horizonte – and on the Pacheco plant in Argentina, in response to the growing impact of the coronavirus in South America. In Brazil, the vegetation are scheduled to restart on thirteen April and Argentina operations from 6 April.
